A Year and Beyond of Building Klasio

7 mins read

A year ago, Klasio helped creators build and sell online courses. Today, it supports far more of the business around those courses.

Creators can now sell subscriptions, bundles, and coaching programs; build a complete academy website without code; accept payments through more regional gateways; manage taxes; connect their academy to a wider business stack; and serve learners in more markets.

That transformation did not arrive in one headline release. It came through consistent shipping-most months, and often more than once a month.

Since September 2025, we have published more than 25 product releases. Here is what that year of building has changed for Klasio creators.

Getting paid in more markets

Where your students live should not determine whether they can pay you easily.

Over the past year, we expanded Klasio’s payment options with Razorpay, Midtrans, Paystack, (PayFast, and Xendit, EcoCash coming soon) , giving creators across India, Indonesia and Southeast Asia, Nigeria, South Africa, and other supported markets access to payment methods their students already recognize.

We also added Apple Pay and Google Pay through Stripe, giving eligible buyers a faster way to complete checkout. Guest checkout now lets students buy with just an email address, while custom checkout fields let you decide what information to collect.

Then came Tax Management. You can set tax rates for different countries, have Klasio apply the appropriate rate to qualifying orders, and review collected tax through a dedicated report.

Together, these releases made checkout more local, more flexible, and easier to manage as your audience grows.

More ways to build revenue

A course business does not have to depend on one-off course sales alone.

Student Subscriptions let you offer recurring access and build more predictable revenue. Product Bundles let you combine multiple offers into a higher-value purchase. Coaching as a Product lets you sell one-to-one sessions, consulting, and mentorship alongside your learning content.

For academies that work with multiple instructors, Revenue Share Management makes it easier to calculate what each instructor has earned without maintaining a separate payout spreadsheet.

That is three new ways to package and sell your expertise, plus a simpler way to manage the team behind it-all inside the same platform.

Building a site that feels like your brand

In November, we launched the Klasio Page Builder, giving creators a zero-code way to build and customize their academy website instead of being restricted to a small set of fixed layouts.

We kept building on it throughout the year. Ready-made Sections added 50 pre-designed layouts across categories such as Hero, About, Blog, FAQ, and Call to Action. You can add a finished section, replace the content, and publish without assembling every element from scratch.

AI Image Generation brought another part of the creative workflow into Klasio. Course covers, bundle images, and visuals for lessons or product descriptions can now be generated where you are already creating the content.

We also added a custom YouTube player without third-party branding, improved instructor profiles and course pages, introduced a WhatsApp widget for direct communication, and continued refining navigation and customization across academy websites.

Serving learners beyond one market

Multi-language support for the student panel lets learners use the platform in a supported language that is more comfortable for them.

Paired with the regional payment options added throughout the year, this made Klasio a far more practical platform for creators and academies serving audiences beyond a single English-first market.

There is more to do here, but the direction is clear: creators should be able to teach globally without forcing every student into the same language and payment experience.

Ready for more learning environments

Some features expand what creators can do. Others determine where the platform can be considered at all.

Native SCORM support lets academies and training teams deliver compatible learning packages commonly used in corporate and institutional training. GDPR-focused privacy controls and cookie-consent tools help site owners manage important data-protection and consent responsibilities when serving learners in Europe.

These may not be the most visible changes in a product tour, but they make Klasio a stronger option for organizations with formal content, privacy, and procurement requirements.

Connecting Klasio to the rest of your business

An academy rarely operates in isolation, so we expanded the ways Klasio works with the tools around it.

Pabbly Connect opens up broader automation workflows between Klasio and external apps. Google Sheets integration can send form entries, enrollments, and user data into spreadsheets for follow-up and operations. Meta Conversions API provides stronger server-side conversion signals for creators running paid campaigns.

We also added Custom SMTP for more control over outgoing email and email automation templates for important messages across the student journey.

The result is a platform that fits more naturally into the systems creators already use to market, sell, teach, and support students.

The work that makes every day easier

Not every meaningful improvement needs a launch campaign.

Over the year, we added bulk student export, course duplication, a rebuilt analytics module with clearer revenue visibility, deeper quiz controls, better cohort management, assignment improvements, automatic student badges, admin panel refinements, and a smoother onboarding flow for new site owners.

After our BFCM growth surge, we also dedicated an entire release to quality-of-life improvements based on how people were using Klasio at greater scale.

These changes are less dramatic than a new product type or page builder. But they are what make a platform dependable on an ordinary workday, when you need to find an answer, repeat a task, or support a student without friction.

Coming this month: Community

Next, we are bringing Community into Klasio.

Creators will be able to give learners a dedicated place to discuss lessons, ask questions, and learn from one another-without moving the conversation to a separate Facebook group or another disconnected tool.

It is one of the most requested additions to our roadmap, and it is scheduled to arrive this month.

Lifetime plan pricing is changing on September 30

Klasio is now a broader and more mature platform than it was when we set our current lifetime prices. As Klasio enters its next stage, lifetime plan pricing will increase on 30 September 2026.

The new lifetime prices will be Starter $1,499 instead of $399, Growth $2,499 instead of $699, Business $4,999 instead of $999.

A lifetime plan is a long-term commitment on our side as well as yours. It means we continue to host, support, and ship to that account for as long as Klasio exists. As the platform grows, so does the cost of honoring that commitment. Here, holding the original price permanently would mean either slowing down what we build or absorbing a gap that widens every year.

We would rather price the plan sustainably and keep shipping at the pace of the past twelve months.

Here is what the change means:

If you already own a Klasio lifetime plan: Nothing changes. Your lifetime access, purchased plan, and existing limits remain as they are, permanently. You do not need to take any action.

If you are using the free plan or still deciding: You can purchase lifetime access at the current price until 30 September 2026. Purchases made after that deadline will use the new pricing.

We are sharing the date in advance so you have a clear opportunity to evaluate Klasio and make the decision that is right for your academy.

Where we are headed next

The past year expanded what you can run on Klasio: more ways to sell, more ways to get paid, a more flexible website, a more connected workflow, and support for more learning environments.

The year ahead is about depth-making the tools you use every day faster, smarter, and more connected as your academy grows.

Our public roadmap remains open and shaped by creator requests. Many of the releases above began with someone telling us what was missing.

Keep telling us how you want Klasio to help you scale further. We listen and ship what our customers want.
