Hello there! August has been a really busy month for us here at Klasio. We’ve been working hard to bring you some new features and improvements that we think will make managing your online courses and students much easier and more flexible. We hope these changes help you out a lot.
Let’s go through all the new things we’ve added this month:
Easier Ways to Handle Your Students with Bulk Imports
We know that dealing with many students and their course sign-ups can take a lot of time. So, we’re happy to tell you about two new features that should help with that:
Bulk Student Import
This new feature lets you bring in many student records into Klasio all at once. Instead of adding each student one by one, you can now upload a file (like a CSV file) with all your student information.
Klasio will then automatically create their accounts and fill in their details. This will save you a lot of time and effort when you have many new students joining, and it should also help prevent mistakes.

Bulk Course Enrollment Import
Following up on the student import, this feature lets you add many course enrollments for your students all at once. This means you can put a group of students into one or more courses by uploading just one file, instead of signing up each student individually.
This is really helpful if you’re managing a lot of students and courses, like for schools or big organizations. It helps make sure everyone is in the right course quickly and correctly.

More Ways to Make Your Site Your Own
We want you to be able to make your Klasio site look and work just how you want it. This month, we’ve added some good ways to help you do that:
New Look: Moon-Light Template
We’re introducing a new design called “Moon-Light.” It’s a fresh and modern look for your Klasio website. You can try this new option if you want to give your site a different feel.

Customizable Homepage Section Settings
You now have more control over what people see on your homepage. There are new settings that let you choose which parts of your homepage are shown or hidden. This helps you decide what content is most important for your visitors.

Custom Text for Your Website Footer
As an admin, you can now change the text in the footer of your website. This means you can add your own branding, important links, or any other information you want at the bottom of your site.

Make Your Courses Private
We’ve added a new type of course setting called “private course.” This lets you create courses that only certain students can get into. It’s good for special content, training for companies, or specific programs.

Change Course Slug
There’s now a field in the course editing form where you can change the web address (or “slug”) for your courses. This gives you more control over how your course links look, which can help with search engines and make your courses easier to find and use.
Moreover, you can now ask for your student’s phone number when they register, as we’ve introduced a Phone Number Field on registration pages.

Better Mobile Experience for Your Students
It’s important to stay in touch with your students. Our new updates help make the mobile experience better and give you more ways to talk to them:
Video Orientation Setting for Mobile Apps
We’ve added a new setting for video orientation to help with mobile apps. This makes sure your videos look good and play smoothly on different mobile devices, so your students have a good experience watching them on their phones or tablets.

OneSignal Integration
Klasio now works with OneSignal, which is a service for sending push notifications. This means you can send special messages to your students directly through the mobile app.

Notification Settings for Mobile App Messages
Along with the OneSignal connection, there are new settings for notifications that let you send push messages right within the mobile app. This helps you keep your students involved and informed with timely updates and reminders, sent straight to their devices.

We Listen to You!
From the very beginning, we’ve wanted to help experts, teachers, and content creators so that technical things don’t stop them.
If you like what Klasio is doing and are happy with these updates, we would really appreciate it if you could share your thoughts on G2.
Your honest feedback helps us keep going and make Klasio the best it can be for you.
Thanks for being a part of the Klasio community! We’re looking forward to bringing you more good news next month.
