In your Klasio website, there are two navigational menus, one in the header and one in the footer. In this documentation, we will show you how to add a new item in the navigation menus.

1. From the admin dashboard, go to “Website” and then click “Navigation.” Then, click on the “Add New Item” button on the top right corner.

3. Once you click on the “Add New Item” button, you will be directed to a new page with a form where you can provide information about the menu item you are adding. For starters, you will have to input the name of the item. The name you input in this field will be displayed in the menu.

4. Next, you need to choose if the page linked to the menu item is an existing page or an external page. If it’s an existing page, you need to select “Klasio Pages.” Then, you need to select the existing page from the dropdown to link to the menu item. Keep in mind that the dropdown will only contain existing pages. If you do not see the page you want to link to the item, then you will have to create a new page first.

Alternatively, if you want to link the item to a page that’s on another website, you need to select, “External Link.” Once you do, a new field will appear where you will have to insert the URL of that page.

5. After selecting the page, you need to decide on the “Sort Order” and “Navigation Position” of the item. The sort order decide the serial number of the item in the menu and the navigation position is for displaying the item either in the header or the footer. When selecting sort order, keep in mind that it starts from 0. That means if you want the item to be the first in the menu, you need to choose 0 in the sort order.

6. Next, we have toggle to decide where to open the link in a new tab, keep the item visible to everyone who visits your website or just your students, and make this item active or inactive.

7. When you are done with everything, click in the “Create” button to finish adding a new item in your menu.
