To make your courses more attractive to your students, uploading a thumbnail or a featured video can go a long way. Here’s how you can do it:

1. From your dashboard, expand “Products” then select “Courses.” Then choose the course you want to upload a cover image for.

2. From the course editor, click on “Details,” where you will be able to update details about your course. If you want to add a cover image to your course, simply add the image you want using the uploader on the right. We recommend using an image that is 800px wide, so it looks proper.

3. However, if you want to add a featured video along with the image, click on the “Featured Video Source” dropdown and choose the source of the featured video. You have three options: YouTube, Vimeo, and Custom Code.

4. If your featured video is uploaded to YouTube or Vimeo, you can just choose the source and paste the video link. If your video is posted on any other platform, then choose “Embed Code” as the source and paste the custom embed code in the URL field.

5. This cover image will be displayed in the course card everywhere in the portal, whereas the featured video will be displayed in the course details page.
